Image: IRTG Meta-ActiveIn July 2022, the first summer school of the IRTG took place in Jena. As part of this first qualification event the first cohort of IRTG doctoral candidats received a training in Good Scientific Practice.
Our postdocs Angela Barreda and Martin Hafermann joined the school to convey their knowledge to the next generation by giving workshops on Working with Lumerical as well as on Scientific Figures. The program was complemented by a lecture from PI Giancarlo Soavi on “2D materials for hybrid active metasurfaces”.
